The projects on this page are most appropriate for High School students (grades 9-12). However, that does not mean they cannot be used for any other grade, depending on the circumstances of your particular classroom. Women on the Homefront - This webquest (ppt) teaches students about women behind the scenes during the American Revolutionary War.
American Revolutionary War - A Webquest (wiki) about the American Revolutionary War.
Civil War POW's - This Webquest (.doc) teaches students about the horrors of war, specifically POW camps, specifically POW camps of the Civil War era.
ARTS
Band Instruments - This Webquest (ppt) teaches high school students about the various instruments needed in a concert band as well as the cost of building a concert band. Includes a spreadsheet (xls) budget activity.
INDUSTRIAL ARTS
Car Repair - This Webquest (zipped folder; click on webquest.doc) teaches high school students about car maintenance/reapirs as well as costs involved.
Dream Living Space - In this Webquest (zipped folder; click on webquest.doc) students create their dream living space. Involves math skills and creativity.
HEALTH
High School Hygiene - In this Webquest (zipped folder; click on webquest.docx) students "help messy Marvin learn about hygiene." Appropriate for younger students as well.
TIP (Technology Integrated Projects) This site provides educators with a variety of Webquests, Excel projects, and Podcast/Vodcast products that cover various subjects and grade levels.
